Pick of the Hits # 1

There is so much great music online today. That's why Pick of the Hits was born!
Hi and welcome to Pick of the Hits blog #1. Come with me on a musical journey that spans well over 60 years in the history of popular music. I've worked in the music industry for over 20 years so you can imagine I have a very vast collection of music dating back to 1950. Every few days, I'm going to take a month and share with you some of the most popular and sometimes weird and obscure hits of that time. Not only that, I'll even show you where you can buy these songs legally and add them to your own collection! Feel free to share your memories and post a comment. The history of popular recorded music dates right back to 1890 but I've chosen to start from 1950. So let's jump in our time machine and head back to the 50s - the birth of rock & roll!
